Jury Acquits Man Charged In 2016 Shooting On I-70

Franklin County Sheriff's Office

A Franklin County jury has acquitted one of two men charged in a fatal shootout on I-70 near James Road in 2016.

34-year-old Robert Harris has been cleared of all charges in the death of 26-year-old Perry Tuttle Junior following an argument over drugs at a local strip club. Harris' co-defendant, 24-year-old Javon Lyons, is scheduled for trial in June. 25-year-old Dorrell Taylor was wounded in the shooting.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
