City To Fund Gun Violence Prevention Efforts

Columbus city officials are pumping more money into gun violence prevention efforts.

The city yesterday announced plans for a two-year, 500 thousand dollar campaign to find jobs for at-risk youth, defuse neighborhood tensions and connect residents with services.  The program is a collaboration of City Council, Columbus Public Health, the Columbus Department of Recreation and Parks,  and community agencies.
