The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission has hired a pair of consulting firms to study the feasibility of a Midwest hyperloop route that would run through Columbus.

Walsh says the studies will also help provide cost estimates and possible ways to cover those costs. The feasibility study is scheduled to be completed next March, and and the first phase of the environmental impact study is scheduled to be completed four months afterward.
