The State of Ohio has given a local prescription drug software firm a 19.4 million dollar tax credit to move its offices from downtown to a new location on McKinley Avenue, retaining and creating a total of 592 jobs.
CoverMyMeds is owned by McKesson Corporation, which is being sued by the state and the City of Columbus for its alleged role in the opioid crisis. Columbus City Council recently gave CoverMyMeds two tax breaks worth several million dollars for the same project.
