The Columbus City Attorney's office says ride sharing scooters recently made available in the city are now legal to use on sidewalks and in the streets.
Zach Klein cites a lack of clarity in the law. Several communities, including the City of Bexley, have banned the scooters. Klein saysin a statement it is up to City Council to decide how to regulate the scooters.
