Kasich Urges Voters To Choose Candidate Over Party This November

A new Washington Post poll shows 60 percent of Americans disapprove of President Trump's job peformance, and 49 percent say impeachment proceedings should begin immediately.

Trump's low popularity is one reason policital experts are predicting Democratic victories in the November midterms. But a Trump critic, Republican Ohio Governor John Kasich,  told CBS on Sunday people should vote for the candidate this fall and not the party.
Kasich says the GOP is losing members, but says it is worth saving.

Kasich was in Washington over the weekend to attend services for the late Republican U.S. Senator John McCain - an event to which Trump was not invited.
