Ahead Of Florence, Cordray And DeWine Buy Ad Time On The Weather Channel

cleveland.com

The gubernatorial campaigns of Republican Mike DeWine and Democrat Richard Cordray are hoping to reach people watching Hurricane Florence coverage.

According to documents released yesterday, the DeWine campaign has purchased ten-thousand dollars' worth of ad time on the Weather Channel for almost 960 individual commercials, with Hurricane Florence expected to make landfall Friday. The ads run now through Monday.  Cordray's campaign has also purchased ad time on the channel but figures on how much was spent were not immediately available.
