The Columbus Board of Education is accepting applications to fill the seat of Mary Jo Hudson, who announced last week she is resigning at the end of the year.
The deadline to submit applications to the Columbus City Schools Treasurer's Office at 270 E. State Street is December 19th. The district received 55 applications earlier this fall to fill the seat of Dominic Paretti who abruptly resigned. Those who submitted applications for that seat do not have to re-submit, but they do have contact the Treasurer's office in writing. The appointee will have to run for election in Novemeber.
