Two former Ohio State University students who say they were sexually abused by the late team doctor Richard Strauss are calling on the university to accept their offer to enter mediation in their lawsuit.
They have sent a letter to the school and lawmakers critiziing OSU for attempting to dismiss their class-action suit. Plaintiff Brian Garrett says he does not believe a pending report from investigators hired by the school will make any substantial recommendations.
The probe has found 150 students who say they were abused by Strauss, and many say the school ignored the problem.
