Police Identify Victim In Fatal Accident In New Albany

Columbus police have identified the person who died in a multi-vehicle crash early Friday on State Route 161 in New Albany. 

43-year-old Charles Tynes was killed when his vehicle crashed into one driven by 31-year-old Joel Rosel. The collision caused both drivers to lose control and cross the median, where Tynes' car was struck by an oncoming tractor-trailer. Rosell was treated at a nearby hospital. 51-year-old truck driver James Hayes was treated at the scene. An investigation continues.
