The Central Ohio Transit Authority is offering furloughed federal workers free 31-day bus passes while the partial government shutdown continues.
COTA says if the shutdown comes to an end before the passes expire they will still be honored. Eligible federal employees must show a valid ID and notice of furlough at COTA's offices on North High Street. A list of businesses and organizations offering services to furloughed federal workers is available at wcbe.org.
