Another Family Claims Loved One Died At Hands For Former Mt. Carmel Doc

Attorneys for a Mount Carmel patient's family say she died after being given a "grossly excessive" dose of fentanyl ordered by a doctor who was removed from patient care and is now under investigation for dozens of deaths.

The family of 82-year-old Melissa Penix says a pharmacist approved the dosage, and a nurse administered it. Mount Carmel found William Husel ordered potentially fatal doses for at least 28 patients. His attorneys have declined comment.
