Coroner's Office Reports Drug Overdose Death Spike

The Franklin County Coroner's Office has issued an alert following a drug overdose death spike from 3 p.m. on Friday to 12:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Officials report five overdose deaths. Most happened on the east side. Officials say users should carry naloxone and test their substances with Fentanyl testing strips. More information is available at the websites of Franklin County Public Health and Columbus Public Health.
