mountcarmelhealth.com

Mount Carmel Health System says at least two cases of Legionnaires' disease in people recently treated at Mount Carmel East have been confirmed.

The source of the bacteria has yet to be identified. Officials say water testing and water restrictions in the hospital have been implemented. 16 people at Mount Carmel Grove City were diagnosed with the bacteria earlier this year, and one person died. It was also found at the Mount Carmel College of Nursing.
