State Will Provide Safety Net For Teens Aging Out Of Foster Care During Pandemic

Ohio health officials report 728 confirmed and probable deaths associated with COVID-19 as of Sunday, with nearly 16 thousand confirmed cases and nearly 32 hundred hospitalizations. 

The state will continue to cover the costs of teens who age out of the foster care system during the COVID-19 pandemic. Governor Mike DeWine says more than 200 young people will turn 18 years of age in the next three months:
 
DeWine says that safety net will help with housing, jobs and continuing education.
