Ohio now has more than 24 thousand COVID-19 cases and more than 1,340 deaths.
The death toll from the coronavirus inside Ohio's nursing homes continues to climb. The Ohio Department of Health says nearly 500 nursing home residents have died in the past three weeks. That's nearly double the total for the previous two weeks.
