The United Way of Central Ohio and the City of Columbus have teamed up to set up a portable wash station in a parking lot at Cleveland Avenue and Broad Street to help the homless clean up.
The facility is designed to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 among the homeless population. The Capital Crossroads and the Discovery Special Improvement Districts have also placed several portable restrooms in their areas for public access. The facilities will be available through at least mid-July.
