The Olentangy Local Schools are moving the start of the school year from August 20th to August 31st to allow for the arrival and installation of safety equipment for teachers and staff.

Under the district' s tentative reopening plan, if Delaware County is under a Level 1 or 2 state alert, students will attend classes five days a week.  If the county is at Level 3, 50 percent of students will be in class daily and 50 percent will get online instruction.  If Delaware County hits Level 4, all students would move to virtual learning.

Pickerington Local Schools have released a four-stage fall reopening plan featuring the colors Green, Yellow, Orange and Red. Under the Yellow level, which is where the school year will start, students will be placed into cohorts by households for two days in school and three days of virtual learning. Parents have the option to enroll their children into a 100 percent virtual learing program. The district will require all students and staff to wear masks indoors.
