Logan-Hocking Schools superintendent Monte Bainter says he has tested positive for COVID-19.
Bainter says he has been quarantined and showing no symptoms. Bainter says he was tested Friday after he was exposed to someone with COVID-19. He says the administrative office is being deep cleaned, and health officials working to identify anyone who had been in contact with him since Thursday. He says anon-teaching employee also tested positive and is quarantining at home. State health officials Sunday reported 922 new cases of COVID-19 and two new deaths. The state now has 122,262 cases and 4,128 deaths.
