State health officials Wednesday reported 5,409 hundred new cases of COVID-19, but say that number may be low because of a technical issue with their website.
123 new deaths were reported. Ohio now has over 584 thousand cases and 7,777 deaths.
The State of Texas has been added to Ohio's COVID-19 travel advisory.
It joins Ohio, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Nevada, Arkansas, Utah, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, South Dakota, Iowa, Arizona, Missouri, and Kansas. All have positive test rates of 15 percent or higher. Travelers are advised to quarantine for two weeks. Montana was removed from the list. Oregon, Idaho, Alabama, Kentucky, and Wyoming had incomplete data and are highlighted as potential risks.
