There's no word yet from Democratic Cincinnati City Council member P.G. Sittenfeld whether he'll drop out of the U.S. Senate race after his primary opponent scored a major endorsement.

"USA Today" reports Democratic U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio has endorsed former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland, possibly positioning Strickland as the front runner.  Sittenfeld had declared himself "all in" for a primary in 2016 before Brown's announcement. The winner of the primary will challenge  incumbent Republican Rob Portman in the fall.
