Throughout the COVID epidemic we’ll be calling attention to important issues and pointing listeners to resources that we think they should know about. As you may know, one concern we have during the state’s Stay at Home order is that this will put some people at increased risk of experiencing domestic violence at a time where folks may feel contained and helpless. Turning Point is an organization that provides temporary shelter for victims and survivors of domestic violence and their children, as well as food, shelter, transportation, and advocacy; all of which is free of charge and confidential. Many shelters in Ohio are doing their best to keep up with the COVID-19 crisis, but you can do your part to help Turning Point support women, children, and families in need by making a donation today at turningpoint6.org/donations.
