Kroger Joins Walmart In Calling For Stronger Background Checks

Cincinnati-based Kroger says it will no longer allow customers to openly carry guns in its stores. 

The grocery store chain is calling for stronger background check laws in response to recent mass shootings in Dayton and Texas. There have been more than 20 shootings in Kroger stores since 2007. Walmart made a similar announcement Tuesday.
