No Downtown Fireworks This Year, TV Event To Feature Past Displays

One of the largest fireworks displays in the Midwest will not take place this year due to coronavirus concerns.

Red, White & BOOM! typically draws more than 400,000 people to downtown Columbus. Instead, it will become a four-day television event July 1 - July 4 with digital and social media elements too.

In addition to honoring veterans, the program will highlight the event's nearly 40-year history with clips of past displays and parades.
