Peter Janson, a veteran jazz crossover guitarist from Boston, will be performing at Ginger Rabbit Jazz Lounge in Columbus on June 12th. This is his second time performing in Columbus. Peter started playing by the age of seven and started doing pop gigs at age 15. For the last twenty-five years, he has performed in venues large and small, including the Montreal Jazz Festival and Carnegie Hall, in a variety of styles; pop, rock, fusion, folk, Celtic, classical, and jazz. His sound is a melding of all these, and it presents as crossover jazz fusion. His music has been featured in video games, commercials, and news documentaries, and has charted on Billboard's top 10 as a session guitarist.
