UA Voters To Decide Fate Of Proposed Income Tax Increase

Upper Arlington City Council last night voted to put a half-percent income tax increase on the November ballot. If approved, the measure would raise an estimated 113 million dollars to fund street and sewer repairs. Supporters say it's a better option than raising property taxes or cutting the city's income-tax credit. Opponents want the repairs funded through other sources.
