Toledo officials have chosen replacements to fill two city council jobs vacated by the new mayor. Paula Hicks-Hudson was sworn in as Mayor last month after Mayor Michael Collins died of a heart attack. Council member Steven Steel was chosen as the new council president. He says he'll take a leave of absence from his role as Lucas County Democratic Party Chair. New council member Scott Ramsey is a political independent.
