Ohio's unemployment rate is now 4.5 percent. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says today the rate for September is down a tenth of a point from August. Non-farm payrolls fell in September by 86 hundred. The agency says the number of unemployed Ohioans is now 254 thousand, down by 11 thousand from August. The largest job gains were in the leisure and hospitality and educational and health services sectors. The largest job losses were in the manufacturing and construction sectors.
