Central Ohio's unemployment rate rose by nine-tenths of a point to 4.8 percent in January due to an end of holiday jobs and winter closings of construction projects. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says unemployment rates rose in all of Ohio's 88 counties. Franklin County's jobless rate is 4.6 percent, and the rate for Columbus is 4.7 percent. Delaware County's rate is 4.1 percent, and Licking County's rate is 5.1 percent.
