Henry Green's Family Doesn't Understand Grand Jury Decision Not To Indict Two Columbus Cops

An attorney representing the family of a black teen shot by two white undercover Columbus police officers last year says relatives still don't understand why a grand jury declined to indict them. Sean Walton says the complete investigative file of the shooting of Henry Green does not appear to corroborate the  officers' account of what happened. Walton says the family still hopes a special prosecutor will review the case.Officers Jason Bare and Zachary Rosen say in the file released Monday they shot at Green fearing for their lives after he opened fire on them. Green's relatives have denied this, saying the two did not identify themselves as officers.  Bare and Rosen also said in written statements they shouted "police" before shooting Green. A video posted online shows Rosen assaulting a handcuffed suspect last weekend. The video is posted on YouTube.
