Regional Unemployment Rate Fell In April

Central Ohio’s jobless rate fell six-tenths of a point to 3.4 percent in April. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says it's the lowest regional rate in nearly 16 years. Franklin County’s jobless rate is 3.4 percent. Rates for Licking County and Columbus are 3.5 percent. Delaware County’s jobless rate is 2.9 percent, and Union County has a rate of 3 percent. Madison County has an unemployment rate of 3.2 percent.
