Central Ohio's jobless rate for May is 3.7 percent, down three-tenths of a point from April. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says the jobless rate for Franklin County is 3.7 percent and the rate for Columbus is 3.8 percent. Jobless rates rose in 53 of the state’s 88 counties last month. Delaware County had an unemployment rate of 3.2 percent, while the rate for Licking County is 3.7. Fairfield County had a rate of 3.8 percent.
