Newark Student Charged With Threatening School Shooting

Newark Police have arrested an eighth-grader for making violent threats against his school, Liberty Middle. The eighth-grader allegedly told classmates earlier this month he wanted to shoot other students. Police say the student admitted to making the statements when questioned by district officials.
