Westerville officials recently extended a moratorium on opening new massage parlors.
The 150 day extension begins May 8. The moratorium prohibits new businesses from opening and existing businesses from expanding or relocating. The moratorium allows Westerville City Council members more time to consider a permanent ordinance that would satisfy residents concerns about prostitution and human trafficking.
