The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission has extended Monday's air quality alert into today.
The agency says pollutants from vehicles and factories will combine with sunshine and heat to produce smog at levels that are dangerous for the elderly, children, and people with breathing problems. Those populations are urged to stay indoors today.
