Ohio Republican party officials say President Trump will campaign for GOP 12th congressional district candidate Troy Balderson this Saturday in Delaware County.
Balderson faces Democrat Danny O'Connor in a special election on August 7th to fill the unexipred term of retired Republican Pat Tiberi. The race has been dubbed by pollsters as too close to call. Vice President Mike Pence visited Newark this past Monday to campaign for Balderson. Pence will visit Cincinnati later this this month. The conservative political advocacy group America First Policies says Pence will speak on tax cuts on August 14th. Pence has been the group's featured speaker at several events nationwide, including one in Columbus in June.
