Columbus city prosecutors have dropped misdemeanor charges against the man assaulted by a now former Franklin Township police officer last May.
Prosecutors say they dropped fleeing, speeding and other charges against 18-year-old Anthony Foster after the officer was indicted by federal authorities. Foster's arrest by Robert Wells was captured on a video that went viral. Wells is seen kicking Foster in the head. Wells resigned a week after the incident.
