A former Toledo pastor convicted of child sex trafficking is seeking a new trial.
Attorneys for 40-year-old Anthony Haynes are asking a federal court to vacate the verdict reached last month. Prosecutors say Haynes paid a girl for sex over a three-year period after promising her mother he would protect her. Haynes said she tried to manipulate him.
