Ohio's two U.S. Senators say they will travel this weekend to the Mexico border to visit detention facilities.
Republican Rob Portman will be in a bipartisan delegation visting a center in McAllen, Texas while Democrat Sherrod Brown will be in a separate group visiting a center in El Paso. Both have issued proposals to help, including additional federal resources and expanding the number of refugees allowed to seek asylum.
