The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is investigating an incident between a Columbus Police helicopter and a drone.
The copter was forced to make an emergency landing last night at Forest Park Elementary School after nearly colliding with the drone. It also landed at the school and was confiscated by officers. No injuries or damage are reported. Federal and local authorities are now searching for the drone's operator.
