State education officials say eight central Ohio school districts got improved grades on their report cards this year.

Canal Winchester, Licking Heights, Reynoldsburg, and South-Western went from a D to a C, while Grandview Heights and Olentangy moved up to A grades and Hilliard went from a C to a B.  Columbus City Schools upgraded from an F to a D.
