The Columbus safety director has upheld the police chief's recommendation and fired two former vice officers involved in the arrest of porn star Stormy Daniels.
Steve Rosser and Whitney Lancaster were re-assigned to desk duty in 2018 following the arrest of Daniels, and amid questions regarding their activities involving strip clubs. Both have been named in related lawsuits. The director also suspended Lieutenant Ron Kemmerling for 240 hours and Sergeant Scott Soha for 120 hours. The police union says the four plan to appeal. Police payroll records show Rosser and Lancaster made over 95-thousand dollars each after they were reassigned.
