Crawford Family

The City of Beavercreek has settled a lawsuit filed by the family of the black man shot and killed by a white officer at a store in 2014.

Attorneys for the family of John Crawford III  say the two sides have reached a 1.7 million dollar settlement.  Crawford was shot and killed while carrying a pellet gun.  The officer involved, Sean Williams, was not criminally charged.
