A group of Columbus residents has filed paperwork to begin circulating petitions to ask voters in Novembr to recall Mayor Andy Ginther.
Organizers include the Yes We Can coalition of fellow Democrats who cite his ties to the corporate community and his response to police brutality protests. The group has a month to gather nearly 15 thousand valid petition signatures. A petition on change.org is also calling on Ginther to resign over similar issues.
