Thirteen police brutality protestors have filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the City of Columbus claiming they were victims of officer abuse.
The suit includes photographs and cellphone videos documenting some of the alleged abuses. Plaintiff Rebecca Lamey says she was hit multiple times with wooden bullets fired by police who jumped out of an unmarked van. The suit seeks damages and changes in the police division. City Attorney Zach Klein says his office has yet to be served with the suit.
