The former speaker is charged in connection with a 60-million dollar bribery scandal involving the state's nuclear power plant bailout law. Yost says since his arrest in July, Householder has illegally spent more than 900-thousand dollars of from his re-election campaign to cover his legal fees.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
