The FBI has launched a civil rights investigation into the shooting death of Casey Goodson Junior earlier this month. Agents Tuesday visited the crime scene at Goodson's home for several hours. Goodson was shot and killed December 5th after allegedly waving a gun at a Franklin County Sheriff's deputy. Meanwhile, Franklin County Commissioners Tuesday approved spending 2.5 million dollars to equip Sheriff's deputies with body cameras next year. 175 patrol deputies will get the devices. The sheriff made the request earlier this year amid public outcry over several officer-involved shootings. Outcry has grown following Goodson's shooting. Commissioners say the public will have input in formulating policies for how the cameras will be used, who has access to them and when they are public record.
