The state Controlling Board Monday authorized a 25 million direct dollar loan for concrete work on the Columbus Crew stadium project.
The money will come from the state's 166 Direct Loan Program although, according to Board documents, provides capital for expansion projects to "companies that have limited access to capital and funding from conventional, private sources of funding".
The Board says the 25-year, 3 percent interest loan will retain and create at total of 183 jobs.
