The FBI has charged a Warren man with taking part in the January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Stephen Ayres allegedly recorded an eight-minute video about his participation not long afterward and posted it on social media. The case now goes to a grand jury. Meanwhile, a judge ordered two other Ohio men arrested for their alleged roles in the insurrection be released on their own recognizance pending a formal indictment. Prosecutors say they have images of Richard Lyon and Robert Thompson inside the Capitol, including photos of Thompson stealing a coat rack. Their attorney says they will plead not guilty. Thompson is due in court on Thursday.
