Ohio Man Charged In Connection With U.S. Capitol Breach

U.S. Attorney's Office

A Wilmington man has been charged in connection with last week's breach of the U.S. Capitol building. The FBI on Friday arrested 40-year-old Justin Stoll on charges of making interstate threats and threatening a witness. Prosecutors say Stoll posted videos related to the insurgency at the Capitol, and wrote online "if you are an enemy combatant, you will be shot on sight." He allegedly told a commentor he would see to it they would "meet their maker." Prosecutors say Stoll's video shows him outside the Capitol building during the breach by supporters of President Trump as Congress was certifying President-Elect Joe Biden's November victory. At least three other current or former Ohioans have been either charged or linked to the attack.
